3. Appraisal Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The appraisals provided by this Service are AI-generated estimates based on photographic analysis and current market data. They are intended for informational and educational purposes only.

Our appraisals are NOT:

• Certified gemological laboratory reports
• Official insurance appraisals
• Legally binding valuations
• Guarantees of authenticity or value

For insurance, estate, or legal purposes, we strongly recommend obtaining an in-person appraisal from a certified gemologist (GIA, AGS, or equivalent) and/or laboratory certification for valuable stones.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Subscription and Payments

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited to 3 saved appraisals with basic features

For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the billing period ends
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

6. User Content

You retain ownership of images and content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your images for appraisal analysis
• Store your content to provide the Service
• Display your content back to you within the app

We do not sell, share, or use your images for purposes other than providing the Service, unless you explicitly create a public share link.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
• Misrepresent AI appraisals as certified professional valuations
• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by Crafted Tools and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
